Not Changeable!
Today I came to the point that we will never, ever have the chance one day to be able to change our parents. Believe me, it’s true. They are stubborn! They think they are always, all the time right and that is, because they are elder and more experience in life, BUT I always believe that:
1) people are different,
2) no one is perfect,
3) everyone is mistakable.
because that’s in our nature. We are not machines! But in the end they are your parents, you have to respect them and their point of views, even when you know exactly they are totally wrong, just try to ignore it and show them you are satisfied with their ideas.. Who knows, maybe someday,.. maybe someday they will realize that you were right at the end. Life’s language says,"The more you “give”, the more you “get”".

No one could have said it better! You're so right, even though you get to the point where you feel like you deserve your independence, you'll always be you parents' child regardless of your age. Despite the annoyance, one should never compromise on respect, kindness, and love for his/her parents.
