Princess Fatma Ismail: (1853 - 1920) Daughter of Khedive Ismail.  She is known as the mother of the benevolent (Um Al-Mohsenin)  Because of the lack of funds for establishing Fouad I University, she donated all her jewelry for the construction of the university.  In 1914, the foundation stone was laid and a gala held in Princess Fatma's honor. She then dedicated the revenue from 658 feddans of her land to be spent on the university. Her name is inscribed on a memorial at Cairo University.  She was a reason for Egyptian women to enter the University in 1928. She died before the University was opened. الأميرة فاطمة اسماعيل: ( 1853 - 1920) ابنة الخديوي إسماعيل. وتعرف باسم أم المحسنين.  تبرعت بجميع مجوهراتها لبناء جامعة فؤاد الأول. في عام 1914، تم وضع حجر الأساس وحفل على شرف الأميرة فاطمة. ثم أهدت إيرادات 658 فدان من أراضيها للإنفاق على الجامعة. نقش اسمها على نصب تذكاري في جامعة القاهرة. كانت سببا للمرأة المصرية لدخول الجامعة عام 1928.

Essmat Mohsen El Eskandarany (1898 - 1973): aka Om El Baharia (The Mother of the Navy) - النص العربى يتبع She is the granddaughter of the Egyptian Navy Admiral Hasan Pasha El Askandaray a.k.a "The Prince of the Seas" who died fighting in the Crimean War between Turkey and Russia in 1854. From a young age, she had a passion for the sea, the ships, travel, the legend of her grandfather, the history of the Egyptian navy, the naval battles that the Arabs fought and the Arab trav elers.  She travelled around the world for 18 years and was named Bint Batouta, after the Arab traveler Ibn Batouta who lived in the 14th century. In 1948, she donated a fully equipped naval ship to the Egyptian navy. She also donated her house in Ras El Tin in Alexandria to the navy. I’m a globie girl that wants to explore as much as possible of the world and get do know more about different cultures. I was born to travel. Ich glaube es ist jetzt mal soweit endlich mal was auf Deutsch auch mit zuteilen. J   Ich bin jetzt seit ende Oktober wieder in Ägypten meine Heimatland und ich liebe es. Obwohl ich dachte, es wird sehr schwer für mich auf einmal mein Lebensstil zu ändern, doch war ich falsch. Im Gegenteil, es ging ziemlich sehr schnell, ich habe mich schnell in meiner neue Umgebung gewöhnt! Noch dazu, das aller beste daran ist, dass ich auch die Chance hatte, wie fast alle Ägypter, die Revolution zu erleben. Das war einfach ein Traum der wahr geworden ist.
