Of the handful of things that God has had strewn upon His creation is the stillness of the last moments before the end. The end of waiting. Throughout my life, I've learned that it's these last couple of measures of time that snap their fingers at the ribbon-making machine in the skies and, just like that - in your hands - you find a very suitable, customisable length of ribbon, to wrap everything up in. It's not about the bow, or whether everything is in a box or in a senseless clump of clutter, it's these moments, these moments before the very end where and when you're dealt the ribbon - your specifically designated ribbon to wrap everything up in; these very last moments before the end of something when everything is just there and you're wrapping it up. Hope.
Hope for … … a better life in the future? … peace? … lots of money? … true love? … good job? … long life? … good Education? … getting away from parents as soon as possible? … winning the lottery? … luck? … expensive gifts/presents? … etc etc etc … What Is Hope? Hope is the belief that circumstances in the future will be better. It's not a wish that things will get better, but kind of “ belief ”, that things might/could end up in a good and positive way! It is when someone sees something, decides that it is desirable, realizes that they may not get it, but believes that there is still a chance of getting it. A person with hope believes that a situation “ might ” have a positive outcome. There may not be evidence that such an outcome is possible, but hope is more than just a wish that something will suddenly change. Rather, it's an expectation that things will work out for the best.
