Of the handful of things that God has had strewn upon His creation is the stillness of the last moments before the end. The end of waiting. Throughout my life, I've learned that it's these last couple of measures of time that snap their fingers at the ribbon-making machine in the skies and, just like that - in your hands - you find a very suitable, customisable length of ribbon, to wrap everything up in. One Fine Evening Swirling autumn leaves of oranges, red and gold. A month of beauty that’s easy to be hold. With late dawns, and early nights. Month of crimson sunsets, and parting birds. An oath has been taken, to be transparent and sincere. Nothing to be hidden, but respect was clear. Long talks and late nights. Revealed souls and dreams. Unfold stories, without critiques. Like north and south poles, pull like magnets. Magnets can't attract, when they're far apart. But we’re always together, inside our hearts. Before what happened happened. Uncertain and confused. Shattered hearts. Decisive decisions. Nothing in hands. Love thwarted, by an unknown long wait. Let me step into the shoes of my own life, it's the fatalism in me once again.
