The Royal Fairy Tale Wedding

I didn't really have the chance to write about the "Royal Wedding" earlier, so here you go…

Friday the 29th, was a big day for the Brits. It was a national celebration actually it’s an old tradition since the British monarchy started. Everyone was talking about the Royal Wedding, even the people here in Cairo. I was surprised to hear about the majority of people from all over the world who attended or flow extra to London in order to take part of the celebration. It’s also quite interesting to hear about people who camped in Trafalgar Square, in central London. It reminds me back then, when people used to camp in “Ring Straße” in Vienna during the European Championship
in 2008 or in Tahrir Square, but containing different events. I personally think it’s a bit too much for a wedding, although it’s not a “Normal Wedding”, but I believe that weddings should be shared between family and close friends, between people you love and not between million of people’s, honestly I feel they lost the real feeling, meaning and spirit of the celebration it self!

Besides that it’s a bit over, I think it’s “sweet”. Come on, you should agree with me. It’s like fairy Tales we read in books. When I was a little girl, my dad used to tell me the “Cinderella Story” before I go to Sleep and I always became happy in the part, when the prince find his Cinderella and live happily ever after. I always asked my self if fairy Tales can come true?  There is something very appealing about fairy tales. It’s funny we all want to believe that women can become princesses, and that men can become white Knights. I admit it, I always dreamed of becoming a princess and that my prince charming would come on his white horse and take me with him to his castle and build together our future. Haha, but I’m sure that every girl had or still having this dream, well I do :)

Okay, back to reality, after reading several articles and watching videos on Youtube, I asked my self, why all of this? I really wonder how do Aristocrats, Bishops, Knights etc actually live their life’s? If they don’t really go out on streets and act their life’s normal just like everyone, life must be boring for them. As we say in Arabic: “They receive everything on a golden plate” which means they don’t really do anything, because everything is already under their feeds. Definitely I won’t be able to breathe, there has to be actions in my life, other wise my life won’t have a real meaning. I have to experience everything on my own, in order to understand everything around me.

However, I wish the couple all the best in their future! =)
